Sweet Potato Crisps
Heres something to try, I promise you, these are totally addictive and perfect for the Philips Airfryer, quick and easy to prepare.
Shave slices of sweet potato as thin as you can, dry them , then coat in olive oil. Place them in the Airfryer basket and in total the cooking time should be set to 10 minutes.
During the frying time, you will have to move the crisps around in the basket, but this is not so easy as the french fries, which are simply shaken half way through. The crisps are more delicate and I usually just move them around by hand, it only takes a minute.
Fry at high temperature, I have used 190 degrees, but adjust to your preference.
I am sure you’ll love them, my young family now demands these healthy alternative snacks regularly, and with the low cal count you can give in….
Another one to try is turnip ( swede) chips!
Update! Sweet Potato Fries
I do love the taste of Sweet potatoes. The thin crisps work brilliantly in the Airfryer. Trying to make sweet potato fries in the conventional oven didn’t work well at all. The Microwave fared little better, giving soggy results, but in the AirFryer these come out perfectly every time
